Preparing Our Hearts to Sing Together This Sunday

Grace Family,

As we look ahead to gathering this coming Sunday, we want to take time throughout the week to intentionally prepare our hearts for worship.

Gathering to sing isn’t about a performance from the stage—you are the choir. Our desire as a church is simply to help all of us lift our voices to God with joy, confidence, and understanding.

As Paul writes in Colossians 3:16–17:

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

Worship starts in our hearts and extends into every part of life—whether you’re driving in the car, working at your desk, or standing at the kitchen sink doing dishes to the glory of God.

While our new hymnals are on their way, we want to equip you right now to worship throughout the week. Take some time over the next few days to listen through the songs we will be singing together this Sunday:
